Rob Liddington Skippers the Alaminta. She is a 31ft (9.45m) Mitchell, purpose built fibreglass cabin cruiser. Currently licensed to carry 10 passengers (during daylight hours) and up to 20 miles off shore with a heads (loo) onboard, cabin seating and ample seating below deck. The Alaminta is fitted with the latest 3G Simrad Chart Plotter and radar. The Alaminta boat is strong, reliable, sturdy and spacious, perfect for our boat trips come rain or shine.
The Alaminta operates under strict licensing regulations through the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency). She has a 12 man self-inflating life raft and buoyancy aids are onboard.
The Alaminta was number 52 in the mould with a Ford Dorset 120 horse power 6 cylinder engine.
The Alaminta was built in 1972 and she has been working for Black Rock Charters and out of Yarmouth Harbour since 2011 after a major refit and has become a popular vessel in Yarmouth harbour.
